During lessons student set weekly and long-term goals. We spend the time learning musical concepts, sight reading music, and playing musical games to reinforce theory; occasionally time will be used for aural training, playing by ear, improvisation, and composing their own music.

If a student is 6 or 7, they can check their readiness by scheduling a Taster Lesson. Harp technique is the weirdest of all the instruments I play, so I like to wait for a few hand development prerequisites.
